Dr Harker offers freeze treatment (cryotherapy) for a range of skin lesions ,most commonly warts but also other skin blemishes. Patients may have put up with warts for years that have failed to respond to treatment, but these can be treated by freeze therapy or if they are really stubborn and built up, the top layers can be removed surgically under local anaesthetic and the base treated with freeze treatment
The Cryosuccess is the freeze treatment Dr Harker uses and is a highly effective handheld cryotherapy device for accurate treatment of skin lesions. The liquid gas travels at a mean speed of 40 m/s in a phase stable state (gaseous state) enabling cells to be destroyed accurately and safely. For example a target area with a diameter of 10mm and a depth of 3 mm can be frozen to -40º within 12 seconds which will ultimately result in absolute cell destruction.
This means skin lesions and warts are truly obliterated successfully.
All work is compliant with NICE guidelines.
It is our policy to refer any problems that can or should be treated on the NHS back to your GP.
Dr Harker offers all these treatments personally.
